Tariq Rimawi
Writer & Director
Tariq Rimawi is an independent Jordanian animated film director, scriptwriter, and academic. He graduated with a Master’s in Animation from Newport Film School in the United Kingdom in 2010 and obtained a PhD in Animation from Loughborough University in 2014. His films have received regional and international awards and have been screened at over 200 international film festivals. In 2016, He established the Animation Department at the University of Petra in Jordan to equip its graduates with the latest storytelling and visual communication techniques. Tariq currently serves as the section head of the Multimedia and Production Studio at the Digital Learning and Online Education office at Qatar University.

Aminah Abdat
Producer (Jordan)
Aminah Abdat has a bachelor’s in Animation & Multimedia from Petra University. Her specialty is cel animation. Her graduation project is a short animated film where she took the film through the entire process. She has experience working on mobile games, e-learning, motion graphics and stop motion projects. She recently finished producing and art directing the short animated film, Zoo.

Moritz Mayerhofer
Producer (Germany)
Moritz Mayerhofer is an academy-award shortlisted director and producer of animated films.
He is a co-founder of the production company studioNICE. His work can be found in a wide range of projects in the fields of animated films, virtual reality and live action/hybrid productions as well as illustration.
